Memory #22: Yoshitsune's Death [232;3-238;8] (Negative Significant)

What He Remembered:
- TRAINING YAYOI TO KICK PIGS FUCK YES
- . . . he's really cocky . . .
- They're waiting to see who their opponent is?
- YOSHITSUNE!!!!!!!!!1 watching parts of his match, YOU SPACE EMPEROR, DON'T STAND OUT MORE THAN ME
- Benkei showing up!
- ............... MISSING A LEG WHAT THE FUCK
- B-Benkei tossing him Yoshitsune's regalia which are COVERED IN BLOOD
- G-Getting Benkei to the showers so she can clean up and such
- Benkei-naked-in-a-shower exposition time!
- The entire YOSHITSUNE TOOK ON THESE DUDES AND HE OWNED AND BENKEI WAS ALSO BADASS AND CUT OFF HER LEG AND THEN YOSHITSUNE WAS NIKE'd story Read the chapter if you want details man that's a lot
- The Rumble Regalia's been trusted to him
- He is really upset over this.
- Taking off, going on a run and carrying the regalia with him

What this means:

This memory is huge in the KICK IN THE EMOTIONS sense in that while Ikki distinctly remembers Yoshitsune and Trident declaring themselves Koga's enemies, it was a friendly thing, and the memory he remembers that in carries that along with it, as well as a healthy respect for him as a fellow King and someone he kind of looked up to (not that he ever would admit it)

SO THIS, learning that Yoshitsune was attacked by these guys and fought them off, and then fighting NIKE, who's PART of Genesis, who's really going after Kings and all, and then KILLING Yoshitsune - it hits really hard, not so much because of what happened, but because Yoshitsune got killed and he's a SIGNIFICANT person in Ikki's life. Not so much Sora-level or Ringo-level, but enough that he flips and cries and has to go on a run to clear himself up.

So yeah. LOTS OF FEELINGS HERE.
